Fused Glass
HOW IT WORKS:
1. Choose your size base.
Choose a clear base that is the appropriate size for what you want to create.
2. Plan your design.
Use our samples for inspiration for your design, pick from one of our templates or make up your own design.
3. Gather your glass materials.
Use a range of different types of glass to build your project. Anything from sheet glass, strings, frit and pre-cut pieces. We have a full-range of colors that are transparent or opaque.
4. Create your masterpiece.
Have a fun and relaxing time building your one-of-a-kind art work. If you have questions or need help, there will always be at least one art team member in the studio during open hours.
5. Leave your piece to be fired.
After you complete your design, leave your project with us to fuse together in the kiln. Project ready for pick-up within 5 to 7 days. (Slumping or wrapping may require a second firing. Please plan on a couple extra days for completion.)

AGE RANGE
Generally, skill comes with time and practice no matter the age.
• 6+ supervised, using pre-cut pieces
• 12+ supervised, glass cutting tools
• 18+ years open studio after lesson

TIME COMMITMENT
It all depends on your design and inspiration. But many pieces take about an hour to create, while your more detailed designs can take 3-4+ hours.

FINISHED PIECE
